Washington, District of Columbia has been selected as the featured American city for the 2015 MONTR�AL EN LUMI�RE festival, taking place February 19 – March 1, 2015 in Montreal, Quebec. The 11-day festival highlights music, art & cuisine through a series of citywide activities that will celebrate Switzerland, Washington, DC and the Lanaudi�re region of Quebec.
Restaurant Association Metropolitan Washington (RAMW) and Events DC are thrilled to collaborate on the opportunity which will showcase the region’s culinary talent at one of the largest winter festivals in the world. MONTR�AL EN LUMI�RE brings together the finest chefs and culinary professionals from five continents for an unmatched culinary experience. Nine series, dubbed the ”Finest Tables,” will offer a complete gastronomical immersion through special events hosted by six outstanding Washington metropolitan chefs, who will cook at restaurants around Montreal. ”The lineup includes an all-star roster of RAMMY award winning chefs and restaurateurs who personify the excitement of the dining scene in DC today,” said RAMW President & CEO Kathy E. Hollinger.

Kyle Bailey of Birch & Barley, ChurchKey, GBD and The Arsenal, will be hosted by David Monette at Les Cons Servent; Bertrand Chemel of 2941 Restaurant will be hosted by Anthony Joyce and Sylvain Levaillant at Verses; Frederik De Pue of Table and 42˚ Catering will be hosted by Jean-Baptiste Marchand at La Fabrique; Todd Gray of Equinox, Watershed Restaurant and Muse, will be hosted by Olivier Perret at Renoir; Mike Isabella of Kapnos and Graffiato will be hosted by Daren Bergeron at Apollo; and Marjorie Meek-Bradley of Ripple and Roofers Union will be hosted by Bryan Labchuk at Pullman.
