Positive Vibes of the Caribbean and Ethiopia Fill the Streets of DC

The Caribbean and Ethiopian communities came together Sunday in downtown DC as JAMMIN DC, the annual music festival, once again attracted thousands for an afternoon of music, dance, food and merchandise sold through an array of vendors. The festival was presented by Mayor Vincent Gray’s Advisory Commission on Caribbean Community Affairs.

With the sounds of music and the smell of authentic food of the Caribbean filling the air along Pennsylvania Avenue, just blocks from the White House, one could not help but to feel the positive vibes of everyday life throughout the Caribbean and Ethiopia.

Although FestivalDC.com could not stay for the entire festival, we did manage to capture a few photos.
